Properties and characteristics
The ALODINE 1200S treatment generates a chrome plate coating on aluminium and its alloys.
Depending on the application conditions and aluminium alloys treated, there is a transition from iridescent yellow to gold yellow.
The coating obtained is an excellent priming coat for paint, ensuring excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance for the finished product.
The product complies with specification MIL C-5541.
Good resistance to the salt fog resistance test, depending on the aluminium alloy used: the times vary between 150 and 400 hours.
The deposit contains chromium VI.

Mechanical, electromechanical, aviation, space, agricultural, nautical, etc.

Operating conditions
It can be used as a final treatment, or as a priming coat for paints, glues, and inks.
